Spark gap Tesla Coil
So, finally there is a way with which you can easily make a Tesla Coil.
What is a Tesla Coil?
Tesla coil is an air core resonance transformer which generates million of volts with a small input voltage. YES, A SMALL INPUT VOLTAGE MORE LIKE 3 VOLTS ONLY. I have made it myself and today I will be sharing it with you people.
What do you need to make it?
A bug zapper (may be the costliest thing of among the parts), a capacitor of about 2kv tolerance, 27n wire, a normal wire ( that is used to come in a colourful insulation), two 1.5 volt AA batteries, two screws or nails( to make the spark gap) and solder kit.( And the most important thing, a PVC pipe)

How to make that coil?
1. Making the secondary coil-
Take the PVC pipe and coil the 27N wire around it. To do that perfectly you can just start by taping the wire in the starting. Just wind around 500 turns onto the PVC pipe. You can do it with your hand or with the help of a drill, which is convenient to you.once done tape the base and the top of the coil with about five turns of tape.
2. Making the power source-
Take the bug zapper, carefully open it and desolder the circuit from the net and the battery if it is rechargeable. Add some capacitors to the output (optional). Connect the output wires to the spark gap.
3. Making the Spark Gap
Take two screws or nails and connect then such as they have a very small distance between them.
4. Making the Primary Coil
Take the normal connecting wire and just make around 5-6 turns on the same pipe on which the secondary coil is coiled.
5. Why that capacitor?
Take the capacitor and connect it between the primary coil and one of the nails.
And you are all done. Just connect the battery and test it.
*You can just improve the efficiency of the coil by placing any conducting spherical object like a ball wrapped in aluminium foil.

Troubleshooting-
1. There may be a chance that you have connected the two nails which led to short circuit.
2. You may have connected the batteries the either way, Check for polarities.
3. Connect the capacitor at spark gap-primary coil junction and not between the spark gap-bug zapper circuit.
Precautions:-
1. Never touch both the nails together while working or even after work. Always short them with the help of a wire or any metal plate.
2. Do not bring any electronic thing Phones or smart watches as they may go crazy.
